I have always had an interest in Lomography, but as many other things in my mind, its something I have dipped my fingers in but never taken any further. During my photography A level a few years ago I had a go at experimenting with Lomo effects using Photoshop, but I have always want to do it properly and purchase a film camera. Of course as soon as I got my first student loan instalment in September I decided to purchase my first Lomo camera. I decided to go for a Diana F+ mini as it was well recommended and it was practical enough to carry around so I could just whip it out to capture spontaneous moments.
I have now developed three films and I am pleased to say that I a really happy with them. Here are some of my favourites.
I am really pleased with my first attempt. I love the fact that the photos are candid and really capture fun moments in my life. I can see this becoming a bit of a hobby. I will continue to experiment with my diana and post the good shots on here!
